A dog-friendly pub in Ashley Cross is hosting a May bank holiday garden party featuring a dog show, pottery painting, Morris Dancers and a cyclothon in aid of Dorset charity Julia’s House.

Saturday 4th May

• Four-legged fun - Rosettes, bandanas & more! Always fancied Crufts? Come and join Kirsty’s Paws in our garden for some friendly competition… There’ll be five categories to enter! 
• Hey, Jude… - Keep your pup refreshed with an ice cream (or two!) Try Jude’s ice cream for dogs. It’s pup-alicious!
• Live Music - 1-6pm DJ set Julian Mix Singh 6-8pm Acoustic set Kaia Vieira
• Dining à la bark - Taste test our brand new dog menu from the legendary Sir Woofchester’s.

Sunday 5th May

• Paint your own (12-5pm) - Dog bowls, mugs & everything in between – let your imagination go wild! No need to come back and collect your masterpiece, you can take them away on the day.
• The Brit’s Bumper Bank Holiday Quiz (6:30-8:30pm) - Gather your friends & family and put your general knowledge to the test. All proceeds go to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, the very same charity we support with our charity pub quiz which takes place every Sunday at 6.30pm.
• Live Music - 1-6pm Ibiza Garden Grooves with Julian Mix Singh and 6-8pm Acoustic covers with Milly Thomas

Monday 6th May

• Morris Monday (from 2pm) - Get those toes tapping with local Morris dancers, Anonymous Morris, and why not stay for a pub meal?
• Live Music - 1-6pm Laid Back Lo-Fi with Martyn The Hat
