Journey back in time with a trip on the traditional steam train, which runs between Corfe Castle and Swanage. Trips are reasonably priced and you can even bring along your furry friend as the train is dog-friendly. Plus they have fantastic events throughout the year including the chance to meet Santa in the run up to Christmas!
Discover Dorset Adventure Park
Dorset Adventure Park is set across 18 acres of woodland and lakes with views across to Corfe Castle. Each of the lakes feature obstacles to tackle with plenty of inflatables to challenge the whole family (minimum age 6 years). Meanwhile the mud trail offers an alternative adventure over 2km, suitable in all weathers.
Feel Like a Giant at Corfe Castle Model Village
Fun for all ages, the Corfe Castle Model Village is just steps from the castle and is a fun activity to enjoy during your visit. The model village has giant games to play in the garden during warmer weather and an onsite cafe to enjoy a warming hot drink when it gets colder.
Rock Pool in Kimmeridge Bay
Head over to Kimmeridge Bay, a stunning Special Area of Conservation along the Purbeck coastline and enjoy rock pooling, snorkeling or just a good old fashioned walk along the bay and beach.

Make sure not to miss out on Sunday roast at The Fox Inn. Not only is their food phenomenal, the pub overlooks the castle and its surroundings and has an open fire, ideal for those colder months.
