New Greggs Store to open in popular Poole Retail Park

The popular national bakery chain, known for its pastry-meat snacks and sweet treats, has officially announced the upcoming opening of a new store at Wessex Gate Retail Park in Poole.

The brand-new store, set to be one of the largest Greggs locations in the country, will occupy approximately 285 square metres of space. Move in plans for the store's signage were approved in October 2022, marking a significant development for the former Carphone Warehouse site that has been vacant since 2020.

With the support of the site owners, Wessex Gate Limited, Greggs has been actively recruiting for various positions at the new store, gearing up for its imminent launch. With the scheduled opening soon approaching, the arrival of Greggs at Wessex Gate Retail Park is highly anticipated by both locals and fans of the bakery chain.

“Greggs is due to open a new shop in the Wessex Gate Retail Park in Poole within the next few weeks. We will be able to share further details with you closer to the opening”, shared a spokesperson for Greggs.
