Where is home and why?
Near Christchurch because I love being near water and a stone’s throw from the forest.
What inspired you to fulfil a career in this industry?
I’ve always had a passion for design and engineering, and one of my designs was successful in the Audi Young Designer of the Year awards, 2001. That, along with a life-long passion for cars, inspired me to work with the brand.
Describe Audi in 3 words…
Vorsprung durch technik is usually translated into English as 'progress through technology'.
What do you think attracts people to the Audi vehicles?
With such a vast range of models, from the A1 through to the R8, and with endless body variants and drivetrain configurations, we really do have a car to suit any driver, purpose and price point.
How do you like?to spend your time off?
In contrast to such a fast-paced work environment, I like my spare time to be as relaxing as possible; paddleboarding, listening to music and watching movies.
What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
Having worked at Poole Audi for 20 years, I’ve enjoyed seeing many of my colleagues progress their careers, allowing them to achieve their own goals, in and outside of the business.
And most challenging part of your job?
With over 100 people working at Poole Audi, my biggest challenge is making sure I have enough time to dedicate to each of them.

Unique Automotive Experience
What has been your biggest achievement to date?
Being promoted to the role of Head Of Business. When I joined the company, as a trainee technician in 2002, I’d never have thought that would be possible.
