What is ILLUMINATE at The Blue Pool 2024?
After a popular Christmas period of festive light trails, Poole is kicking off 2024 with the return of the spectacular illumination show as The Blue Pool in Wareham is illuminated like never before for ILLUMINATE at The Blue Pool. But what is the amazing light trail event?
Returning in 2024, this event will give the famous Blue Pool a new look as the popular nature reserve is filled with cascading light and music to create a feeling of tranquillity as the water becomes illuminated at night.
Partnering with OT Event Technicians, this is the new year outdoors experience near Poole that you don’t want to miss out on. Featuring over 1km of mesmerising illuminations, magical woodland trails will be lit up as visitors are given a glimpse of the Blue Pool’s deep waters with plenty of scenic stop-off points along the way.
Running throughout January, February and the first week of March, the ancient woodlands surrounding The Blue Pool combine man-made lighting illuminations with the existing beautiful nature to create an outdoors experience that is a must-visit.
The light trail is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs but the ground is uneven in places so take care. Dogs are welcome on leads and parking for the event is free.
