December Talk with Jacqueline Frampton – Director /Owner of Bayside Business Centre Ltd

Today we're talking to Jacqueline Frampton who is the owner & director of the Bayside Business Centre Ltd, a provider of serviced offices, virtual office services & meeting rooms based in Willis Way, Poole, Dorset.

It’s December – is this a busy time for your business? Why? If not, how do you make the most of the time you have this month?

A little quieter on enquiries this time of Year – sometimes plans are / ideas are started to be followed through in the New Year by our potential clients.

Christmas is coming – what does Christmas mean for you?

Personally I love Christmas – it provides an opportunity to spend quality time with family, friends and colleagues sharing good food, wine and conversation.

What’s on Santa’s List for your business in 2022?

We have throughout 2021 completed an extensive refurbishment at the property and would now like to continue developing the Business Community here at Bayside with our Virtual Office Clients alongside our Serviced Office Tenants.

And what’s on your list personally?

Some R & R time at home with Family & Friends & my “fur baby” Maximus the Chihuahua

What has been your greatest business lesson this year?

Resilience and Perseverance – breathe deep stay strong and press on.

What have been your business highlights in 2021?

Completing the refurbs and renovations in the Building

Meeting New Tenants and learning all about our New Start Ups via the Virtual Office applications - there are so many Entrepreneurs starting new ventures and stepping into the Business World with innovative new products and services – it has been most heartening to see and be part of.

What have been your personal highlights in 2022?

Survival & via that Personal Development

Re-learning how to value time at home and re-discovering that I have some talent in the Kitchen (exploring vegetarian food cookery)

What will you do differently in 2022?

Perhaps aim for a better work / life balance (although work is a huge part of my life)

Improve my carbon footprint in every way I can both personally and professionally (apart from parting with my much loved petrol engine car – not ready for that yet!)

Is ‘giving back’ important to you, your business or organisation? Why?

Absolutely – there is no cost in being kind, considerate and supportive to others and where possible an element of all that is earned needs to be shared with other’s less fortunate.

Will you have a nominated charity for 2022? If so, tell us about it and what you plan to do to support that organisation?

Our nominated charity is Guide Dogs for the Blind – we are currently supporting 2 x Puppies through Training and as they Graduate will support a further 2 (or 3 or 4 ).

If you are planning to recruit in 2022 – share a little of your hopes around the growth of your team.

We are planning to extend our Service offering to our Virtual Office Clients & Tenants  via Telephone Answering & other Admin services

Have you got any special offers or deals you’d like to mention?

Our Virtual Office Services which provide a secure business address for commercial use, low volume mail and small parcel handling at extremely competitive rates starting at £30 pcm

What would be your best piece of advice for anyone in business for 2022?

If you are planning to start a new venture or expand your existing offering there is no better time to start than Now – delay an procrastination can stifle growth and opportunity.
